The 70’s are having a major moment this Spring… and hasn’t that been the case for the last 5 years?? Regardless, I am always on board with dressing like a flower-child. Today, I styled the 70’s with a purple crochet dress that I recently won on eBay.
I chose to wear this crochet dress over a vintage purple slip, but it would also be great over a bikini at the beach. Of course, I couldn’t help but choose a fur to keep warm; nothing says 1970’s like an ostentatious fur. My accessories are also very 70’s: from a silver flower necklace to my fringe scarf, to my low-slung silver conch belt. I also featured a new silver vintage purse I got at the Manhattan Vintage Show… It feels very mid-evil in aesthetic, but goes great with 1970’s-inspired looks.
My FAVORITE accessory, however, has to be my over-sized purple frames embellished with a crystal-encrusted spider from Fabulous Fanny’s in East Village. A-Ma-Zing!
