A Midsummer Nights (Psychedelic) Dream

GingerSnaps Psychedelic Dress OOTD 6

Today I am sharing a Psychedelic OOTD built around one of my favorite vintage dresses from the 1970’s.  The look was photographed from within one of my favorite places in the world: The Boston Public Garden.  Draped in a dress with a dendritic print that features nearly every color of the rainbow, I was clearly having a very fashionable “Midsummer Night’s Dream.”  On a side note, while living in Boston this past summer, I saw a comedic version of this Shaksperean favorite at a show aptly called, “Drunk Shakespeare”.  Highly recommend it, should you ever be in Beantown.

Long, vintage dresses like the one I wearing today are no stranger to GingerSnaps.  They offer the perfect amount of warmth on cool nights and look good on everyone, for proof check out THIS past post featuring Jeanne in a blue and green variety.  I accessorized with a BEAUTIFUL feathered necklace, a gift for my last birthday from my bestie, Jeanne.  The balance of my accessories include my favorite purpley-blue bag by Dior (also a birthday gift from a few years ago) and over-sized, mod lucite earrings from H&M.  The final touch?  My go-to summer wedge: orange patent sandals by Bakers (total cheapie!).
