For todays’ installment of “Around the World Wednesdays”, I am sharing an outfit styled with Tribal Vibes. The Tribal Trend is one that never really goes out of style, reappearing on runways year after year, season after season. The aesthetic inspiration considered “tribal” can reference any number of tribal origins from Africa to Asia to South America and beyond. Consequently, the Tribal Trend can include a range of features: elaborate beading, shiny embellishments, safari/jungle prints, bright and metallic color palettes, animal prints, fur, natural elements, any the list goes on…
For the Tribal OOTD I am sharing today, I chose to pair a blouse that is heavily beaded in a tribal design with a silk, pleated skirt in a metallic, mustard-gold hue. I layered over a hunter green leather jacket by Alexander McQueen, making this look perfect to wear all the way through Fall. To bring it all together, I chose several of my favorite tribal accessories: over-sized beaded earrings from H&M, a camel-toned leather bag with golden alligator detailing on the strap, and my favorite summer shoe by Sam Edelman that featured tribal embroidery and embellishments.
If you love this metallic mustard-gold skirt as much as I do, you can make it your own at the link below, and be sure to check out all of my incredible listings, straight from the pages of GingerSnaps at my eBay store: ShopGingersCloset.com.
