Birthday Party Style (Part Two)

photo-13

Monday I shared pics from my friend Jeannes’ Birthday Party.  Today, I want to share the details of her vintage ensemble from the party.  Party Dresses from the 1950’s (like this one) always transport me back to my childhood days of dressing up like the latest Disney Princess.  While a tea party is the perfect excuse to don a girly get-up, Jeanne and I make a point to dress-up and feel girl-y on a regular basis.  Don’t be surprised to find us on our Macs, working away on our blogs at the Ace Hotel Lobby or while sipping our lattes at The Bean.

We found this vintage dress in New Jersey at a store called “Another Mans Treasure”.  Jeannes’ delicate features always give her a “doll-like” look, but she looks especially precious in this pastel dress.

Her style always includes quirky accessories like this lucite clutch and funky BCBG ring.

I found these beautiful vintage earrings at a market in Chelsea.  They are so dazzling, they take away the need to wear jewelry around your neck.

The shoe is my favorite… total Shoe Jewelry!
