A few weeks ago, while taking cover in Urban Outfitters, I found this 1980’s pastel, sequin dress. Part of their Vintage Collection called “Urban Renewal”, some of the pieces are remade from fabric of vintage pieces while others are sold as is. Apparently, this has been around for a long time, which makes me wonder…have I been living under a rock? What could be better than vintage pieces picked by the fabulous, hipstery buyers of Urban Outfitters?
The coat is from a Colombian designer I encountered while in Bogota three years ago… I love the sheen of the fabric and the impeccable tailoring. www.julietasuarez.com.
Accessories include a vintage hat I embellished with brooches and Jimmy Choo stilettos I embellished with clip-on earrings and shoe-clips.
The necklace is from my favorite little-known W Boutique, and the earrings are vintage and under-stated.
