Halloween Inspiration: The Fashion Super Hero and The Burlesque Dancer

GingerSnaps Fashion Super Hero 1 2

In case you missed the beautiful Miss Sabado in Part One of The Fashion Super Hero Halloween Inspiration yesterday, you can check it out HERE.  For today, however, I am sharing two looks I shot with the fabulous Miss Maria King.  While my look is inspired by a Fashion Super Hero, Marias’ outfit is inspired by a Vintage Burlesque Dancer.

Marias look features a beautiful vintage corset that was ACTUALLY part of a Burlesque Dancers costume in the 1930’s.  The corset is beautifully made and has maintained most of its beading over the years.  I paired the corset with a ruffled skirt from Forever 21, a funky fascinator, and classic Louboutin peep-toe stilettos.

For my Fashion Super Hero look, I chose the same avant garde bust shield that I styled Miss Sabado in yesterday.  I paired it with shiny black leather leggings by Helmut Lang, funky wedges from The W Boutique, and a futuristic feather fascinator.
