Halloween Inspiration: The Fashion Super Hero (Part One)

GingerSnaps Halloween Super Hero 1

Todays Halloween-inspiration is: The Fashion Super Hero.

The first look I am sharing, is the second of my triple-collaboration with Miss Sabado and Modern Vice Boots.  #triplexxx The white patent leather boot we built this Super Hero OOTD around is aptly called, “The Bowie”.  As such, the flamboyant style of David Bowie is evident in this entire, over-the-top look.  While I love this white Bowie Bootie, my favorite version is the two-toned, black-and-white “Jagger Boot”.  Can you believe this madness exists and is not already in my closet??  Soon…

Miss Sabados’ Super Hero look begins with a very avant garde piece: a plastic Bust Shield from Pat Fields.  I chose to layer a light blue leather vest over the top, to give her somewhat of a cape.  To cinch it in, I then layered a white harness over that– talk about some creative layering!  Her accessories include a clear lucite necklace from TopShop and a 1950’s rhinestone earring that climbs right up her ear.  And there you have it, The Fashion Super Hero.

Just in case you want some additional Super Hero Inspiration, I am also sharing how I styled myself a la Super Hero, using the same Bust Shield as I styled on Farrah.  In this look, I let the full-splendor of the Chest Shield show.  Stay tuned for that look in a post out soon…
