InstaStyle: Colorful Summer Stripe Dress (and other SALE) on

So I have been doing some price reductions on my fun summer items on  And, people, let’s not forget: IT IS STILL SUMMER.  (Those of you living in NYC have been all too aware of high-summer lately…)  One of these items is this adorable cotton striped dress in today’s InstaStyle post.  You can CHECK IT OUT HERE; the auction ends on Saturday, so check it out while you still have time!  (You can check out all other items for sale at

I love stripes.  And I love color.  It seems there is a trend this summer of wearing lots of color, though I’m not sure what to call that…  Multi-color?  Rainbow?  Just… Color?  In any event, it’s definitely no surprise to see someone wearing three, four, or more colors at a time this summer on the streets of NYC.  I intend on keeping this trend alive for as long as I can manage.  Besides, New Yorkers are prone to be drab and black… we need to freshen things up from time to time!

I set this shoot near a colorful playground and featured my tiny Yorkie, Gracie Mae, take a look!

I kept with the color-overload trend in my accessories as well.  My jewelry includes a cheapie necklace and head scarf from Forever 21.  I am also wearing a longer orange necklace that is vintage.  These vintage earrings are extra special as I stole them from my moms closet long ago.  I wonder if she misses them…  The handpainted bracelet is from Forever 21 and the handbag is vintage.  (Remember this bag from my St. Patricks Day Post?  Check it out HERE)

My shoes are by Jeffrey Campbell… I bought them in Punta del Este when I was visiting Uruguay for New Years 2012…  Turns out they are reall difficult to walk in and make me freakishly tall, BUT I love them and their bold orange color.

  1. I thought those shoes must be JC! I’ve tried on some of their crazy wooden platforms and I can’t walk in those well either. I only have a pair of JC flat oxfords so far!

P.S. I LOVE this whole look!!
