Introducing Hairyjuku Pupwear: Chihuahua Fashion from Asia

IMG_3288

Today I am featuring both the second look from my recent shoot with Jeanne and her new line of “Pupwear” coming this summer!  Like me, Jeanne can always be found with her dog in tow.  He is the cutest Chihuahua I have ever seen… they should make a special “chunky Chihuahua” breed that looks like him.  Tank and my dog, Gracie Mae, have a tumultuous love-affair.  She only gives into him when I am not around.

Jeanne is in the process of starting a DOG CLOTHING LINE and I can not wait until it is open.  Called “Hairyjuku Pupwear” the line is bringing unique Asian Dog Fashion to the US Streets at affordable prices– Stay tuned and, in the meantime, like her facebook so you can be the first to know when it is open.

This look is typical of Jeanne’s unique style and ability to wear fifty different prints and, somehow, not appear too busy or distracting.

These Sunnies are so cute, and so CHEAP!  Target always has the best accessories.  Being a New Yorker, I rarely get to go.  When I fly home, it is one of my essential Suburbia-fixes.

All of the  accessories are vintage, except for the belt.  The belt is from C Wonder, a quirky store by the same people who own Tory Burch.  They have fun odds and ends and run great sales– check them out if you haven’t.

These Shoes are one of my favorites from Jeannes’ closet.  They look like pieces of ART!
