Long Hem-lines, Dolce and Gabanna, and More Blue & Green Styling

Today is the final look from my shoot with Jeanne.  The dress she is wearing is a Vintage 1960’s Mod Maxi-Dress that is the perfect piece to transition into Spring with; its length offers an alternative to the jeans and boots you’ve been confined to while still giving you some coverage and warmth as we (hopefully) slowly transition into Summer Heat.

I always find that I get four times the attention and compliments (both male and female) when I wear long(er) dresses.  Even during a recent visit to the scantily-clad city of Miami, I wore mostly long dresses and skirts but still received endless compliments about how sexy and beautiful my outfits were!  I guess there really is something to say for leaving a little (or a lot) to the imagination…

The accessories she is wearing include two street finds from abroad!  The jade bracelet was a gift to me from my beautiful friend Lisette from her hubby’s travels in Turkey.  Jeanne was gifted the hair-bow from a Japanese street market.  Love quirky international finds.

The purse is one of my go-to’s for the day-time.  It’s by Tory Burch and is surprisingly versatile because of the gold plating.

The shoe is by Dolce and Gabanna and gives just the right edge to the classic leopard trend.  Check out how I do Leopard in my Styling Post HERE.
