Love and Hearts w/ #TripleXXX

GingerSnaps TripleXXX Heart Lady 2

Today I am sharing a “Love and Hearts” look for Valentines Day, from my recent #TripleXX collaboration with Miss Sabado and Modern Vice.  This Valentines Day look has an overall 1940’s Old-Hollywood aesthetic.  I have recently been watching the Amazon Original Series: Man in the High Castle that is based back in the 40’s in a fictional Post World War II where The Allies did NOT win the war.  While the series was luke-warm at best, the 40’s fashions were red-hot.

The look begins with an adorable vintage hat from the 1940’s that is decorated with two hearts.  In the case that you are without a sweetie this Valentines Day, a hat like this can help get your heart off your sleeve and onto your head… or something like that :).  The “love and hearts” motif continues all the way down to  Ramonas’ toes where she is wearing the Modern Vice “L-O-V-E” boots.  The coat she is wearing is actually faux fur and made by Juicy Couture.  The brand has since shuttered and, while I was never a big fan of their signature velour jumpsuits, they always had a few girly pieces like this coat that I would fall in love with.  I kept the rest of the look equally as feminine with two rhinestone brooches, lace gloves, and glittery silver and rhinestone jewelry.
