Today’s OOTD is built around a Vintage Pant Set from the late 1960’s To make it more modern (and because the pants were too short), I altered the pants to shorts.
I’m really not sure why Polyester has such a bad reputation in the world of fashion textiles. Yes it’s 100% synthetic and hot, but when it comes to it’s versatility and endurance, there’s no competition. Hence, this nearly 50 year-old piece looks as good as it did at the disco.
Another of my NYFW OOTD, I accessorized with bold, vintage accents: vintage felt and feathered hat, lucite necklace from TopShop, gold and black Emmanuel Ungaro purse, and pink and black color-blocked shoes by 3.1 Phillip Lim to bring it all together.
Vintage Jumpsuit: Unmarked circa late 1960’s, Necklace: TopShop, Earrings: Forever 21, Bracelet: Vintage, Hat: Vintage, Purse: Emmanuel Ungaro, Shoe: Phillip Lim 3.1
