Todays OOTD is all about PLAID. Plaids are a surprising versatile print, and can easily be worn in tandem without being overbearing. The Blue Plaid Skirt I am wearing in todays OOTD has a special story. It was actually bought many years ago from my first job at Banana Republic in Orlando, Fl (can you believe it??); the sleek classic silhouette makes it truly timeless.
For todays Plaid Mix-Up OOTD, I chose to pair a plaid wool corset with my trusty plaid skirt from Banana Republic. To break up the patterns a bit and cinch in the waist, I chose a statement black belt by Armani Exchange. If you look closely, I actually chose two different coats for this outfit. The first one in vintage and has a big fox fur collar; the second one is a two-toned, color-blocked leather jacket by Anveglosa. I love how different each look is, based on the coat. I am obsessed with the super-sexy green leather knee-high boots I chose by Sergio Rossi. The final touches are a purple vintage necklace and earrings from the 1960’s, bringing it all together.
