Sexy Summer Bikini Series: Vintage Vixen (Part Two)

Today, for Part Two of my Sexy Summer Bikini Series featuring Miss Sasha (say that three times fast), I dressed her up in mostly vintage.  Her crochet skirt is very “granny chic” (yes, that is a real thing in the fashion world.)  I mean, seriously, how crazy is this skirt?  Totally hot and impractical for the beach, but I dig anything that makes me think of my own (badass) grandmother. This past weekend, Sashas’ cousin (Alyona) and I stayed at an precious, albeit archaic, Air BnB Apartment in Miami Beach.  I’ll post some photos of the retro bikini and hair I sported at Soho House while we were there, later.  I felt very “Veronica Lake” with my new Raven Coif.  (In case you don’t follow me on Instagram @gingersnapsnyc I recently took the plunge and dyed my hair red, a la Ginger.)  Alyona was also channeling a retro look in a steel-gray one piece swimsuit– she looks so sexy in everything she wears.  But, more on that later…

Sashas Retro Bikini Look is topped with one of my newest additions to my extensive vintage hat collection: a purple felt and feathered fascinator.  Her piles of necklaces are from Zara, Forever 21, and the like.  Her bikini top is from Beach Bunny Swimwear.  If you are not familiar with Beach Bunny Swimwear, you are SERIOUSLY missing out.  I was lucky enough to meet the designer behind the line a few years ago.  A former-model-turned-entrepreneur/super mom, Angie is as sexy and charming as her swimwear line. Check out Beach Bunny Swimwear for yourself here.  If you happen to be in Miami, a stop into their beautiful Collins Ave. Boutique is a must.
