Today I am sharing one of my recent listings posted to my eBay store ShopGingersCloset.com:
This look is Oh-So-60’s from the Vintage Secretary Dress, to the Jackie O Style Hat, and finally to the Trapeze Cut Coat. The color combination of Red, Black, and White is a favorite of mine all year round. I have shared several other OOTD in this color scheme in the past on GingerSnaps. (See other examples following todays OOTD). In addition to the colors, I also love the mix of patterns and shapes in this look. First, we have the obvious pattern of stripes in the Dress and Trapeze Jacket. This contrasts with the subtle polka-dot pattern of the pill-box hat (look closely!) Next, there are geometric shapes seen in the circular patterns on the necklace, belt, and bag. These shapes contrast with the square-ness of the shape in the hat and the angles created by the thick black straps across my pointy, color-blocked stilettos.
