The synthetic material known as Ultra-Suede was first created in the 1970’s and quickly became a staple trend for everything from furniture to fashion. Today, as part of my coverage on the current 1970’s revival, I built my outfit around a green suede skirt. I paired it with a prairie-cut plaid blouse, which was also very common during the 1970’s era.
My accessories include Prada sunglasses, vintage leather belt, and vintage peep-toe booties. However, my favorite accessory is the INCREDIBLE straw snail handbag from Kate Spade. You might remember my initial coverage of the bag after seeing it on the runways at New York Fashion Week. Needless to say, I had to buy every single one of their novelty bags this Spring.
